statement about work submitted

The work I have submitted firstly focuses on my ambitions of fashion design by closely analysing images which obtain a fashion perspective. These are all finished in such detail so that the clothes are given thier own textures and come to life on the page. I also have shown studies of drawing in fine detail from a photoshoot I managed and styled using my own handmade headpieces in the series of three orange canvas'. The later work is part of my studies of the human body and my experiments with media and colour to re-create this. I am interested in learning more about the processes of textiles into fashion design as my work has a keen focus on how styling and personality plays a vital role in fashion.
